– Carrières-sur-Seine, an atypical village on the banks of the Seine
Cross the centuries with this unspoilt village on the banks of the Seine. It was in the 12th century with Suger, abbot of Saint-Denis and senior advisor to King Louis VI Le Gros, that Carrières-sur-Seine was truly founded. Its inhabitants adapt to the story: they are stonemasons, vine growers or mushroom producers in Paris. The guided tour will take you from the banks of the Seine to the church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste through troglodyte houses.
Lunch
The afternoon
– Guided cruise of the loops of the Seine
This cruise will take you from Carrières-sur-Seine to Pecq through the islands of Chatou, Bougival and Port-Marly. You will know everything thanks to your guide and you will enjoy the landscapes that inspired the Impressionists!
