Come and explore the Chevaudeau valley in the ancient forest of Crüye, renamed Marly forest in the late 18th century.
This 5 km itinerary is suitable for walkers of all levels.

The forest of Marly is marked by history and by the imprint of Louis XIV. From the beginning of the Middle Ages, abbeys were installed on the territory of the forest and the local lords built fortifications to protect themselves from Norman neighbors. As a result of these constructions, the forest is gradually reduced to small scattered woods. Today we can still see the remains of the castles (Montjoie, retz), the access door to the abbey of Joyenval (13th century) and the Saint Michel cross which is located on the site of the abbey of Chevaudeau (12th century).
