Born here in 1638, Louis spent part of his life at Saint-Germain-en-Laye which was the king's official town of residence and a centre of the exercise of power.
During their tour of the Château, pupils will become more familiar with Louis XIV and his love of art, as well as his political, cultural, and economic actions.
