Dès le milieu du 19ème siècle, la mode est au canotage qui délasse les Parisiens des contraintes de la vie citadine. En 1857, Monsieur Fournaise, charpentier de bateaux, installe son atelier sur l'île de Chatou.
Your visit will revolve around the discovery of the hamlet Fournaise and the collection of unique boats in France: yoles, canoes, triplets, perishables. Finally, the fans of the association Sequana will reveal all their secrets to restore these boats from another time! The guided tour of the boathouse (30 minutes) will be followed by a mini cruise on the Seine (30 minutes). Limited to 18 people.
